Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how GOLIBERO LIMITED ("GoLibero", "we", "us") handles personal information through golibero.com and software and integration services, including services connecting authorised business customers to Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.
1. Who we are
GOLIBERO LIMITED is registered in England and Wales (Company No. 10870523), incorporated on 18 July 2017. Registered office: 2 Bingham Corner, Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon CR0 7AA, United Kingdom. Privacy enquiries: hello@golibero.com.
2. Information we may process
- Website enquiries: your name, contact details, company, and the content of messages you send us.
- Business accounts and integrations: business contacts, authorised account identifiers, WhatsApp Business account and phone number identifiers, configuration and webhook information, and credentials required for an integration.
- Messaging information: where a business customer enables a WhatsApp integration, telephone or business-scoped identifiers, message contents and media, timestamps, delivery status, and related conversation metadata needed to deliver the service.
- Technical information: relevant service logs and security-related records generated by the systems used to provide our services.
We do not claim that every category above is collected from every visitor. The data processed depends on which services are used and how a business customer configures them.
3. Why we use information
We use information to answer enquiries, arrange and deliver contracted software services, connect and operate authorised customer messaging systems, troubleshoot integrations, protect accounts and systems, and meet legal requirements. Depending on the context, the relevant UK GDPR lawful basis may be performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or consent where required.
4. Roles and business customer data
For personal information handled on behalf of business clients through their CRM or WhatsApp integration, the client will commonly decide why and how that data is used, and GoLibero acts as a service provider or processor under the relevant agreement. For our own enquiries, commercial relationships and business administration, GoLibero may be a controller. Requests about a business client's customer records may need to be referred to that business for authorisation.
5. Meta and WhatsApp platform data
Where authorised, our integration may receive information through Meta's APIs and webhooks solely for the business messaging features requested by the connected customer. We do not sell Meta Platform Data. WhatsApp and Meta process data under their own applicable terms and policies. Removing a connection stops future authorised processing through that connection after revocation is effective, but does not automatically remove copies held in a client's CRM or records kept where required by law.
6. Sharing and service providers
Information may be shared with the relevant business customer and with hosting, infrastructure, communications, customer-support and security providers where necessary to supply the service, and with public authorities when lawfully required. We do not publish customer message contents or use them for unrelated advertising.
7. Security and international transfers
We apply access controls and other reasonable safeguards appropriate to the systems we operate. Where data is transferred outside the UK, relevant transfer protections must be assessed and applied as required by applicable law. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, contractual requirements, security, dispute resolution or applicable legal obligations. Retention for messages inside a client's own CRM is controlled by that client and their configured systems. Please contact us to ask about retention for a particular integration or request deletion.
9. Your rights
Depending on your circumstances and the applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on it. To make a request, email hello@golibero.com. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the business that controls the relevant data.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
10. Data deletion and Meta app disconnection
See our Data Deletion Instructions for how to request deletion of data associated with GoLibero integrations or revoke Meta app access. Removing the app in Meta does not automatically delete the underlying WhatsApp account, Meta-hosted messages or a business customer's separate records.
11. Updates
We may revise this policy when services, practices or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
